A Father’s Quest for Redemption
In "Howl," we present an evocative tale of redemption and self-discovery. Set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, a father navigates the delicate balance between his past and the promise of a better future. This powerful narrative highlights the transformative journey of a man torn between his former self and the path toward a new identity.
Approach
Simply put, we just wanted to make something during a time period when the world was at a standstill. We called in favors, and took some risks that truly paid off. We were beyond thankful to be able to work with the likes of Javicia Leslie (Batwoman), Dominic Jones (Beyoncè) +more to make our in-house vision come to life.
Because this was still Phase 1 of the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to be safe without compromising the integrity of the story we wanted to tell. Creating this piece about the pandemic, during the pandemic, made this high stakes film feel even more intense than we could’ve imagined.
