Expertly produced by Lately Early Productions for TBS. With lively discussions driven by classic games within the Black Community, this series turns entertainment into an art form. We transformed a vibrant set into a dynamic playground, inviting celebrity guests to engage in competitive banter and authentic conversations. The laughter and camaraderie on-screen mirror the unforgettable moments shared behind the scenes.
Approach
The most challenging and rewarding project in our portfolio. When we submitted our RFP, we wanted to showcase that not only did we have the cultural knowledge to create relevant and impactful content, but that we also had the skill and know-how to fully produce an entire gaming Universe.
We ideated and built a set from Net0 that had to be functional, branded and color specific. Our world also had to have the ability to quickly be flipped for each individual game, as we shot multiple episodes per day.
In acquiring the talent for this project, we again tapped into our expansive network and resources, to bring some of the most impactful and known influencers and actors to Points Were Made. Alleviating additional stresses for our partner and client.
With our partners at Blavity, we delivered this project for the ‘More’ arm of Turner Network, which is designed to create more representation in film and television for people of color, both in front of and behind the camera. To date it remains one of their most viewed properties.
